You arrive
Coffee or water in the lobby. New-patient paperwork is a single page. Your insurance card is helpful but not required at first visit.
The first visit is mostly a conversation, a careful look, and a written plan you take home. Around 60 minutes, start to door. Here is exactly what to expect, in the order it happens.
Each step takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You can stop at any point. Bring a friend if it helps.

Before any tools come out: what brought you in, what worries you, what you want, what you do not want. We listen.
Modern digital X-rays (low radiation), a thorough look at every tooth, gum check, bite check, brief cleaning if there is time. Stop signals respected.
What you need, what is optional, what it costs. In writing. You take it home, no pressure to decide today.
Dental anxiety is common. We have several tools that meaningfully help. Use whichever combination works for you.
Laughing gas. Available for any procedure on request. Wears off before you leave the chair. You can drive home.
Raise your hand at any moment. Need a break, need water, need to step outside. We pause without question.
Bring your own. Music, a podcast, a book on tape. We will check in by tapping your shoulder, not interrupting.
Patients often bring a partner or friend to the first visit. There is room for one in the operatory.
First visits are scheduled Monday through Friday and on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Tell us your three best windows; we will confirm the same day.
